KRISSY Returns to GCW
By Mark Ronson on 2021-02-03 11:18:00

In a huge development last night, Krissy returned to GCW for the first time in almost eight months, distracting Nava Farrin and costing her the International Championship. PW Outsider can exclusively reveal that Krissy has re-signed with GCW, after a long and contentious negotiation period between GCW and Krissy. We all the details regarding the contract she signed below!

According to sources, Krissy was incensed about how former Livewire GM Pete Floyd handled the Global Championship tournament, in which he allowed Andrew Rayens to force Krissy to wrestle twice. She reportedly told GCW that she would not sign a contract unless Pete Floyd no longer worked for the company. Around the same time, Krissy personally sought out Supreme Championship Wrestling as well as Tabitha Silverstone on Shotgun. She allowed her contract to expire, at the suggestion of Trevor Cash, and attempted to use the contracts offered to leverage to receiving a better deal. Once it became clear that she was holding out for a better deal with GCW, SCW rescinded their offer.

According to sources, when Pete Floyd was taken out of commission, she reengaged talks with GCW. However, her demands were described as "insane." Multiple sources confirm that Krissy had asked for, in particular, a "significant pay increase, her own locker room, the ability to fly on the GCW jet to shows instead of flying commercial with the rest of the roster." These demands caused talks to stall and a rift between Krissy and Trevor Cash. According to sources, Krissy was "appalled" to see that Trevor was expanding his clientele to Aia (who's currently on excursion and wrestling on a five match deal) and Princess Nava Farrin. Furthermore, since her last match in GCW, it's been said that Krissy has not make any contact with GCW North American Champion Dianna Kruse and Gloria Velaquez.

“Reverie is done,” one source said. “Dianna and Gloria grew fed up with Krissy's behavior and quietly separated themselves from her and Trevor.”

The tension between Trevor and Krissy was "palpable" according to those in the company, as during the fall, they would repeatedly ask for conflicting things while at the table. Furious that Trevor was looking to add even more clients to his ever expanding enterprise rather than simply managing him, Krissy fired Trevor in late December. According to sources, "Krissy didn't fire Trevor on the phone. She waited for him to fly all the way to North Carolina and told him before they entered GCW headquarters. Trevor was livid at the amount of disrespect displayed and lashed out at Krissy. GCW security had to defuse the situation but as sources say, "we have never seen Trevor Cash this angry before.

From that moment on, Krissy began to represent herself in talks with GCW. Throughout the month of January, Krissy' demands grew more and more extreme. "You hear about diva athlete all the time, but they have nothing on Krissy," a source told PW Insider. "Some of the requests she wanted were some of he craziest I've ever heard."

Eventually, the two sides did reach an agreement early last week. However, the contract in itself remains a hot topic among GCW higher ups. Krissy pushed for and eventually received, a one year deal with GCW. GCW traditionally, likes to lock up long term members to more years but Krissy was adamant that she wanted a shorter deal; one of the many points of tension between her and Trevor. This allows Krissy, who is betting on herself, to come back to the table next year and neogate a better contract for herself. We are told that the contract is "very lucrative" and "perhaps the most unique contract GCW has ever signed." Some of the details in the contract include;

-If she wins the Global or GCW World Heavyweight Championship, she receives an additional $100,000 bonus

-She insisted on not wanting GCW to use her name and likeness. Which means she will not appear in the next GCW video game this year, losing on a massive pay.

-However, by doing so, Krissy is free to sell her own merch and earn sponsorships from companies without having to split the earnings with the company.

-She HAS to arrive to shows on time. If she arrives late to the arena, her contract immediately goes null and void and GCW is not liability to pay the remainder of the contract. This is due to Krissy's pendant for showing up late to shows, as seen numerous times on the air. This also applies for meet and greets and anything promotional that GCW may want her to participate in.

-She is allowed to bring a personal Chef with her during shows so that she doesn't have to eat catering with the rest of the roster. However, she must pay for them as it won't be provided by the company.

There are "a few more incentives that she must reach monthly in order to receive her salary" sources said. "We looked into every measure to protect ourselves just in case."

All we know is that Krissy is back in GCW and has the wrestling world talking.
