Update on the condition of Angelica Jones

The ending to the mother vs daughter grudge match between Angelica Jones and Marie Jones was certainly scary indeed. Angelica Jones passed out after the Angel’s Arch submission hold. Doctors at the hospital where she was transported believe that the pain of the hold itself was unlikely the cause of her losing consciousness. The most likely cause, according to the medical experts, is complications from the concussion she had suffered months earlier.

Jones is awake and feeling much better but doctors want to keep her for a little longer before releasing her later Monday evening. Angelica’s sister Kayla Jones-Snow and Kayla’s husband Trenton Snow are expected to pick up Angelica and get her transported back to Boston, Massachusetts.

As far as the future of Angelica Jones? While nothing official has been released from Jones herself it is expected that she will announce her retirement. She did vow to retire if she lost to her daughter Marie and on top of that after suffering potentially another concussion it is questionable whether she could even get medically cleared to wrestle ever again.
