Shotgun House Show - November 8, 2016 (Gila River Arena, Glendale, AZ)

Blood Rose vs. Controversy

The team of Hannah Myers and Destiny Skye opened the show on an exciting note, giving the Ramsys no room to breathe. Destiny knocked out Arora with "Destiny" and tagged Hannah back in. They debut a new move they call "No B.S." where Hannah hit "Flight of the Angel" (a flying DDT) before tagging Destiny back in for her to hit a dragonrana ("Skye High"), getting the 3 count.

Winners: Controversy (Pinfall, 2:14)

Cody Lindberg-Knight vs. Matthew Bowden

The only offense Bowden was able to muster was several minutes in, he came off of the ropes with a cross-body block, but only got a 1 count for his efforts. He was unable to build any momentum, either, as Knight picked up where he left off with Bowden, hitting aback-body drop, a choke-slam, and a few other high-flying moves before coming off of the top rope with "Model Behavior." The three count was academic.

Winner: Cody Lindberg-Knight (Pinfall, 4:32)

Non-Title
#GingerNation vs. Da Bad News Baers

Chris and Eric caught the Global Tag-Team Champions by surprise, attacking them during their ring entrance...which got them a huge pop from the audience. However, the Nation used that third member to their advantage, as Julie the Enigma tripped Eric Baer when the referee was distracted by Allison. Jenni hit Eric with "The Adora-Bomb" and while Enigma attacked Chris Baer on the ring apron, they got the pinfall.

Winners: #GingerNation (Pinfall, 6:20)

Non-Title
Adrian Waters vs. Leviticus

While Waters was mostly in charge of this contest, Leviticus received a rare pop when, after Adrian retreated to the floor, Leviticus hit a suicide dive. The advantage this gave Levi was short-lived, but there was evena bigger pop when Nate Lawson appeared on the stage. Waters stared up at Lawson, who made the "belt" gesture. As Adrian pointed and shouted at Nate, Leviticus rolled him up from behind, but Waters barely kicked out. A now angry Waters showed a brutal side against Levi, and was almost disqualified more than once for illegal chokes. Finally, Adrian hit his tombstone piledriver "Use Your Head," but did not go for the pin, opting to hit a second "Use Your Head" and finally made the pinfall.

Winner: Adrian Waters (Pinfall, 10:43)

X-Division Championship
Tiffany Manning (champion) vs. Karen McBride

Manning was definitely afraid of McBride and attempted to lose by count-out, but Karen chased her down and threw her into the ring. Karen hit several body slams on Tiffany before coming off of the second turnbuckle with an elbow drop. She hooked a leg, but she was grabbed by the ankle and pulled out of the ring by Skuld! The referee immediately called for the bell.

Tiffany wasted no time scurrying from the scene as Skuld and McBride traded punches on the floor. Karen started getting the better of her attacker...when she was hit with a chair from behind...courtesy of Skogul, AKA her sister, Melanie! With Karen down and out on the floor, Nero appeared from the shadows and ordered his girls backstage. They disappeared into the crowd as Joey Michaels made it to the ring. He looked around for a couple of minutes before checking on Karen.

Winner: Karen McBride (DQ; Tiffany Manning retains, 2:48)

Katherine Prescott vs. Kordy

Kordy was going to take no mercy on Katherine, attacking her before the bell. Kordy controlled the first part of this match with fists, boots, chokes, and all around violence. Prescott kicked out of a couple of pin attemps, angering Kordy, who grabbed Katherine by the hair and ran into the corner. Kordy went to slam Katherine's face off of the top turnbuckle, but Katherine blocked this before smashing Kordy's face off of it, instead. Kordy staggered back, and Katherine clotheslined her to the canvas. Katherine and Kordy went back and forth for a while until Katherine hit a suplex, followed by the "KDS." She followed this with "Katherine's Pride" and she got the pin.

Winner: Katherine Prescott (Pinfall, 9:35)

MAIN EVENT - GCW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Julia Braddock (champion) vs. Joey Michaels

Only three days after winning the World title, Julia found herself in her first title defense against a man who has recently revitalized his career in Joey Michaels. "The Hottest Summer Blockbuster" took control early on and had the crowd's full support as he controlled Noel with various slams and high-impact moves. Michaels went for the "Michaels Kick," but Julia ducked it and locked Joey in a Fujiwara Arm Bar. Michaels was able to fight his way to the ropes, but the damage was done and Braddock continued to concentrate on the arm.

Julia tried several submissions, but Joey would not submit. She started to concentrate on her extensive move set, highlights include a reverse DDT, a springboard spinning heal kick, a split-legged moonsault, and a German suplex. She went for a cover, but Joey kicked out. She hit "Queen's Randsom," and the pinfall seemed academic, but Joey shocked everyone by kicking out a second time! Julia dug deep and went for "Cameot Plung" (swan dive head butt), but Joey rolled out of the way! Joey pulled the champion to her feet before performing a vertical suplex, then an elbow drop. He hit "The Joey Effect" and went for a pin, but Nirvana hit the ring, both women kicking and stomping Joey.

Julia rolled out of the ring as the official called for the bell. She got booed as she walked up the aisle to leave Michaels to fend for himself. It was a long minute later that Karen McBride, bandaged, rushed the ring with her own steel chair. Skuld and Skogul
stood their ground until Nero appeared. Karen immediately went for the masked man, but was tackled by the women. Joey was now recovered enough to come to Karen's aid...and this is when Nero called the Valkyries off. The lights went out...and when they came back on, all three members of Nirvana were gone, leaving Joey and Karen alone in the ring.

Winner: Joey Michaels (DQ; Julia Braddock retains, 22:37)
