Midas won the Best of the Best Tournament and that victory earned him the right to face the world heavyweight champion anytime, anywhere. That's what the world knew. What the world did not know was that a mysterious hitman named Judas Stone, who had been attacking people in GCW seemingly at random, was actually paid off by Alexander Midas. Judas destroyed Jason Redfield on Livewire as he was celebrating his title win. Midas then snuck in and cashed in his title shot to win the gold quite easily.
