The Midas Corporation got to book GCW for one month and they used that booking power to their advantage against GCW X Division Champion Kurt Logan by scheduling him for a title defense against two Midas Corporation members Marcus Kincaid and Alissa Midas. Kurt fought valiantly but in the end the numbers game proved too much and Alissa Midas would become the new GCW X Division Champion.
