Referees

Post by admin » Sat Jun 22, 2019 12:11 pm

Malcolm Stride (senior): He is our senior referee. He's been with GCW since its first opening back in 2002 and was rehired when Glory Braddock bought the company and resurrected it in 2012. Thus he is considered a GCW Original. Very fair and doesn't take shit from anyone. Will stand up to any wrestler who tries to bully or intimidate him.

Robert Downey: Part of the crew hired when the company started back up in 2012. He is a bit of a clown but fair nonetheless.

Stephen Snuggs: Oldest in terms of age of the referees. Can be intimidated easily.

Jose Diaz: Jose Diaz got his start as a Luchadore in Mexico. Upon retiring he became a referee. He has a great respect for the business and, like Malcolm Stride, Jose is tough and will not be intimidated easily.

Shawn Pack: He was originally the senior referee for Global Division of Wrestling. When GDW shut down in 2012 and was subsequently bought out by GCW, he was brought over as an official. Shawn Pack still harbors ill will and resentment for the other officials, specifically Malcolm Stride; Pack believes he should be the senior referee, not Stride.

Denika Hartwell: Denika was a part of the GCW women's roster during its initial run. After it was bought out by GDW she started wrestling on the independent circuits. Denika retired from active competition when GCW reopened in 2012. But Denika did take a job as a referee. She has a lot of attitude and will not be intimidated by anyone. She is fair and will call it down the middle. She also likes to see a clear winner and a clear loser, so she will try to avoid throwing the match out if she can.
