Matthew Alan was the founder of Global Championship Wrestling and owned it and operated it for a few years before being forced out of power by his business partner Mike Michaels. Matthew has always held a grudge for this and has always longed for his family to return to power in some way. Matthew has two younger sisters, Jennifer Alan and then the youngest of his sisters Aurora Alan. For a long time GCW Owner Glory Braddock had long battled Matthew himself as well as powerful forces on the Board of Directors who favored the Matthew Alan family influence. Braddock did not trust Matthew or his sister Jennifer, but she saw Aurora as someone who was kind, generous, and wanted to genuinely help. In fact, Aurora had already begun a charitable organization, The Scarlet Hope Foundation, to give professional wrestlers any medical assistance they need free of charge. So to make peace with the Board of Directors, Glory sold a minority share of the company to Aurora Alan. How much Aurora's share of the company is unknown but she is a minority shareholder and wields significant power on the Board of Directors. Aurora is genuinely kind, considerate, and willing to help anyone but she is not naive. She grew up in a family of cunning cutthroat business people and she knows every dirty trick of the trade. She is not easily fooled. She was recently named Chief Executive Officer in GCW with full powers to act. However, she tends to stay out of the way and let the General Manager's office handle wrestling operations on Shotgun, Livewire, and Fever.
