Mara Kade had earned an opportunity at any singles undercard title she wanted at the time and place of her choosing at Resurrection in Global X. Unfortunately the title she chose to go after became vacated and in order to win it, she had to go through multiple opponents, including Veronica Taylor, Destiny Skye, and finally Mariah Starr at the Livewire edition of For Glory & Gold to become the new GCW X Division Champion.
