Livewire 13.01 (Day One Special)

Post by randy » Mon Jan 01, 2024 9:54 pm

[Livewire kicks out with Roderick Osborn planted in the center of the ring. Peering at the crowd from right to left, a small grin forms on his face. There's a microphone in his right hand.]

Roderick; Thank you everyone. And I speak for everyone here in GCW in saying Happy New year!

[The crowd roars. Roderick nods.]

Roderick: We are thankful for each and every single one of you including us into your New Year's plans. Day 1 is shaping up to be an incredible night with a great main event. A rematch from outside of GCW. Jewel Romero Vs Nadia Allen!

[More cheers.]

Roderick: But, before we start, it is time for me to introduce the man who insisted on being the first time you all saw this year. He is the current GCW World Heavyweight Champion of the world. Ladies and gentleman, Alexander Jones!"

[The crowd boos.]

"ALI BOM-BA-YE"

"ALI BOM-BA-YE"

"ALI BOM-BA-YE"

[The chant blares through the PA system. Then a series of drums play in the background. Soon, "Ali Bom-Ba-Ye" kicks into gear with a booming saxophone. As the intro plays out, the video tron shows Alexander Jones confidently strolling down the hallway, flaked by a slew of police officers and security guards. The crowd once he is seen. Positioned behind the champion is Veronica Starr, Brodie and a few other unrecognizable men dressed in suits. The ensemble make their way through the curtains, the camera now placing itself behind them.

Alexander receives boos when he appears on the ramp. He doesn't react to them, simply keeping his chin up high. The police officers playing escort lead Alexander and company down the ramp. He clutches onto his World title belt while Veronica Starr is seen grinning from ear to ear. Brodie barks a few times, boasting to the nearby cameras. Alexander remains unmoved, occasionally glazing at the crowd with contempt. Once he reaches ringside, a few of the officers run up the steel steps and hold the middle rope open for him. The champion follows suit, scaling up the steel steps before entering the ring. Veronica Starr enters right behind him, as well as Brodie and then the rest of the security team. Alexander immediately raises his title up in the air, drawing more boos.

'ALI BOM-BA-YE!"

'ALI BOM-BA-YE"!

[Veronica and Brodie chant along with the song while the champion shows his title to all corners of the ring. Roderick backs up a bit to give him space due to the sheer amount of bodies currently filling the room. His music fades and the boos start to rain in. Alexander stands in the middle of the ring, with Veronica to his left. Brodie is among the security guard surrounding Alexander, Veronica and Roderick.]

Roderick: Alexander...quite the song choice to come down to.

[Alexander tilts his head towards Roderick.]

Alexander: I am who I am. Ali and I one in the same.

[The crowd boos. Veronica smirks.]

Brodie: That's the GOAT! That's the GOAT!

[Brodie belts. Alexander gives a half smile.]

Alexander: It's undisputed. No debate.

[Roderick goes to speak but Alexander cuts him off.]

Alexander: You got a lot of people here. Saying all types of things they don't know what they talking about. Saying boss things when they're runners. That ole girl. And you know who I mean, Roddy. Ole girl with the cue ball muscle that I jacked up. And the rest of her crew. They don't live what they say. They got no power. I am the man with the power.

[The crowd boos.]

Alexander: i told ole girl to only address me as champ. And she did it without hesitation. Like a good girl. That's power.

[Roderick then brings the microphone back up to his lips.]

Roderick: Strong words per usual from you. You know there's been a lot of talk about how you represent the company as champion and your demeanor. There's been some talk about your sporadic appearances and how that's unlike the typical World Champion. What do you say about that>

[Alexander shrugs.]

Alexander: I'm not a typical man so i understand why you and these fanboys out here don't understand.

[The crowd boos a bit.]

Alexander: I've never understood some of the things I saw from the people who held this belt. Throwing out challenges like it's candy. I always thought that was just disgraceful. This belt right here is the most valuable prize in the game. Whoever holds this belt is the best. So it needs to be protected. And whoever's champion, they need to be protected, too. I think everyone back there. They're not businessmen. They don't have the vision. They get distracted, going after small fry belts like that one ole girl got right now. They want to be like everyone else. So when i come along and I don't play the game the way they think they should and they see me get to the top, they can't stand it. I don't blame them.

[He gives a sly smile.]

Alexander: So that's what i say to that. There is no charity when it comes to the best. You either got what it takes or step off. I'm not entertaining nothing that ain't worth my time. I want to get done to the chase. I only wrestle when this is on the line. Because this is what it's all bout. This is the prize. And I got it. I'm the best. You gotta pay extra to see me. It's what I've earned.

[The crowd boos as Brodie is seen boasting.]

Roderick; Speaking of earned, let's get down to the chase. At Civil War, you're defending that title against Miss America, who earned his title shot at End of the Year bash.

[The crowd cheers when her name is called. Alexander sneers a bit.]

Alexander: Yeah she been chirping for months. Crying over spilled milk. Baby girl, all you do is shed tears. I'm not surprised that these fanboys gas you up and got you believing that the reason you don't have this is for something other than the fact that I'm better than you. Stop lying to yourself.

[The crowd boos.]

Alexander; Let's be honest, you, and everyone else, can't handle the fact that I pushed ahead of all of you in 18 months. While you and everyone else been playing the game. Cry all you want. It's been two years and I only fell once. And that was because ole girl had her mans take me out. And we saw what happened to him and her. Got my lick back. I've run through everybody. The proof in the pudding, baby girl. 2023 I was undefeated. Never loss.

[He shakes his head.]

Alexander: People like you, you brought all the shit they say about 'you gotta do things this way. you gotta do things that way." All that wrestling shit, right? I bet you started your career setting up the ring, driving 18 hours just to get like $40. Talking about wanting to be a fighting champion because that's what the people you gotta do. Ronnie told me you actually changed your name to Miss America. That's crazy to me. You couldn't live with your DNA, so you had to be something you're not. that's crazy to me. And of course, like the bums these guys are, they lap it up.

[The crowd boos some more.]

Alexander: Miss America. I'm the American Dream, for real. Because everything I wanted, I took. First day here and they stuck this mic in my face, I told everybody. I ain't here for games. I'm here for the prize. They tried to get me to go after the small fries shit, i told Silverstone that ain't gon work for me. I want the big belt. And now when i see her, when we out doing work, promoting the matches, promoting the shows, when I look in her eyes, she knows I did everything I said I was going to do.

[Roderick raises an eyebrow.]

Alexander: A wrestler is like Miss America. A puppet for the business. handing out title matches to people who shouldn't even sniff it. Devaluing this prize that should be respected. Should be protected. I know you and these fanboys think I should wrestle more in matches that don't have this belt on the line. But you see what it is when it's showtime. You saw what I did to Mara. To Aubrey powers. that's a legend. And you saw how I dealt with her. You're a pro wrestler, Miss America. And that's why you're going to lose again at Civil War. I'm beyond pro wrestling. I'm better than pro wrestling. And honestly, pro wrestling needs me.

[the crowd boos louder.]

Alexander: This belt needs me. Because I'm not typical. And everyone playing this game, everyone that's held this belt, has thought like a pro wrestler. I'm the first one that treats it, treats this game, like it should. You should learn from me, Miss America. But it's all good. That lesson coming at Civil War. and I can't wait for them tears. From you and everybody here when they see what happens. You're a pro wrestler. i'm beyond that.

[Alexander smirks as "Ali Bom-Ba-ye" blares over the PA system again. The crowd showers him with boos as Veronica raises his arm up in the air. He holds his title up high while Brodie and the security team look on.]

[Janelle St Claire stands in the backstage area alongside Nadia Allen. Allen, dressed in her ring gear and a D.O.A. t-shirt, a black and pink Queens of Chaos armband on her right arm, her right shoulder noticeably tapped up and her left hand taped up. The red head gives Janelle a glare while she rolls her left wrist around.]

Janelle: Janelle St. Claire here with one half of the main event for tonight, Nadia Allen. It's been exactly one year since you made the decision to no longer be a full time GCW wrestler and instead become a freelancer. We've seen you here still however in the last year, you've traveled around the globe, seeking the best. One of those wrestlers you fought along the way is the woman you wrestle tonight Jewel Romero. And as she has said, you were one of the reasons she came to GCW.

[The mic extends towards Nadia.]

Nadia: And she didn't have to search for long Jewel because I was looking for you, too. The first time we wrestled, it was all about climbing the ladder. I was sore for days. All those shots you gave me with the ladder. I was bruised up and down my body. I was also the winner.

[Nadia' eyes remain on the camera.]

Nadia: I went through Hell to beat you then. You've won a lot of titles. You've accomplished a lot. And I know you've been thinking about getting another crack at me for the last four months. We'll see how much we've learned from then. Jewel, I'm coming into this match with my scars and my bruises. This will be the fourth match I've wrestled in the last 96 hours. I was in Japan 72 hours ago, wrestling against one of my best friends in Jessi [Ozborne/Rosalez]. But this is the life I chose.

[She clears her throat.]

Nadia: Last year I took steps to proving that I am the best wrestler in the world. Beating you Jewel got me closer. 2024, the goal is the same. I want to be a complete wrestler. Singles, teaming with Envy here in GCW. Being apart of the Queens of Chaos and pushing my new unit mates to be the best they can be. I want there to be no doubt, by the end of 2024, that I can do everything. And on Day 1, today, my goal is to not leave that ring until you can't get up Jewel. Seek and you find. You wanted me. i wanted you. It was violent the first time we wrestled. I don't expect anything less tonight.

[Nadia nods.]

Janelle: Thank you for this time, Nadia.]

[A small nod from Nadia towards Janelle occurs afterwards.]

Nadia: No problem. Any time.

Mai Hayabusa Vs Kana Hoshiko
[Hoshiko with a lariat, a rebound lariat, and a springboard clothesline. Kana goes for another lariat but Mai counters into a judo toss. Mai with a spinning heel kick and a running leg lariat. A dropkick sends Kana tumbling to the ring apron and then Mayabusa with a springboard dropkick sends Hoshiko to the outside. Mai with a suicide dive over the top takes out Kana Hoshiko. Mai rolls Kana back into the ring. Hayabusa goes to the top turnbuckle and leaps off with a diving crossbody for a cover..1…2Kickout! Mai sets Kana up for a ddt but Kana fights out of it and delivers a roundhouse kick. Hoshiko whips Mai into the corner and then runs in with a helluva kick. Hoshiko with a snap suplex out of the corner floating over into a cover…1…2Kickout! Hoshiko with a Destiny of Hoshiko. She climbs up to the top and goes for a moonsault but Mai gets her knees up! WINNER: Kana Hoshiko

(The lights dim as several spotlights shine down upon the entrance ramp. The opening chords of "Gets Me Through" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system. The lights all come on. Pyro goes off. The tron flashes to life and the words "Her Royal Majesty" appears on the tron only to be set ablaze and burn away in a fire, almost as if Rome itself were burning. The words "The Queen is dead" appear in its place.)

Robert Lee: Ladies and gentlemen, she is "THE FALLEN QUEEN", “THE KENSINGTON KNOCKOUT”, “CHASTITY”...JULIA BRADDOCK!

(Then Julia Braddock steps out onto the stage. Julia Braddock is wearing an impeccably tailored charcoal gray skirt suit, exuding sophistication and professionalism. The blazer boasts a structured silhouette with a single-breasted design, featuring subtle peak lapels that gracefully frame her neckline. The jacket cinches at the waist, accentuating her figure, and terminates at the hip with a slight flare, providing a touch of femininity. Beneath the blazer, a crisp, ivory silk blouse peeks through, its high neckline contributing a touch of modesty. The pencil skirt, perfectly matched to the blazer, falls just above the knee, emphasizing both elegance and practicality. A slender belt, crafted from genuine leather, cinches the waist, adding a subtle detail that ties the ensemble together. Completing the look, she wears classic pointed-toe pumps in a complementary shade of deep burgundy, adding a pop of color to the monochrome palette. A tasteful gold pendant necklace graces her neckline, adding a hint of refinement without overwhelming the ensemble. Braddock has a stoic, focused gaze on her face. She glaring down the ramp towards the ring, thinking only of who and what she is expected to conquer tonight. The Fallen Queen gracefully and methodically makes her way down the ramp. The fan reaction goes unnoticed by Chastity. She only cares about the task at hand. Her eyes never leave the ring as the intensity of the music picks up. Chastity rounds a corner and then ascends the steps. She steps between the ropes, entering the ring. Chastity steps to the center of the ring and gives a crucifix pose for the fans, drawing a loud reaction.)

Julia Braddock: Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to a brand new of Global Championship Wrestling! Welcome to DAY ONE of Livewire!

(The crowd cheers loudly. Braddock nods her head.)

Julia Braddock: I may not be scheduled to compete but as I have said time and time again, you can always count on me to be here each and every night, each and every week, putting in the time and effort for you, the fans of Global Championship Wrestling! I am not a part timer. I do not show up just for the paycheck. I show up because I care about this place and because I want to see it succeed. I will do anything to ensure the success of GCW. That has been my motivation and my drive since day one. But lately I have had a new motivation. I have had a new drive that has added even more fuel to the fire that burns deep within my soul.

(The bright smile on her face turns into a frown.)

Julia Braddock: Five hundred and seventeen days…it has been five hundred and seventeen days since I last held the GCW Global Championship. When it was unified with the GCW World Championship, I never got a one on one rematch. Five hundred and seventeen days without a one on one rematch. I wasn’t even allowed to compete in last year’s Civil War Match to EARN myself a one on one rematch, all thanks to some ridiculous Ultimate Sacrifice stipulation and interference from one Sophie O’Brian. With my Resurrection opportunity up in smoke last year, I waited. I let Resurrection run its course. I let Miss America, D’Nae Moore, and Alexander Jones have their main event spotlight. GCW tried to satisfy me with the GCW World Tag Team Championship. And while I love my ride or die pal Destiny Skye, and yes, I enjoyed our run as champions, those titles were not enough to satisfy me. Because deep down in my gut I knew that I deserved a one on one World Title opportunity. Then when I had the chance to earn that opportunity at Deadly Dreams, Aubrianna Powers took it upon herself to screw me out of the chance.

(She shakes her head.)

Julia Braddock: That was a mistake, not only on her part but on all of GCW’s part because that is what woke me up. That is what made me decide right then and there that I would not settle, that I would be patient any longer. I would reclaim my rightful spot atop GCW. I would regain the GCW World Championship. Now I know Trevor Cash thinks that the real money match is myself against Alexander Jones for the GCW World Championship. I happen to agree with him. But I am not going to muscle my way into interfering with something Miss America has earned. If any one person in this company right now can empathize with me, if anyone can feel the pain that I have felt and understand me, it is Miss America. She had her guaranteed world title match, she earned it at Resurrection and held onto it for a year before cashing in. But she never got her promised one on one title match. Now its been one year since her failed attempt. I am not going to interfere with that. Miss America will get her one on one opportunity against Alexander Jones. And as for me?

(Braddock shakes her head.)

Julia Braddock: No funny deals, no chicanery, no tricks. I am entering the 2024 Civil War Match and I am going to guarantee myself a one on one shot at the GCW World Championship when I win the 2024 Civil War Match. I will make history by becoming the first and only three time winner of the Civil War Match. I will then go to Resurrection and right the wrong that was done to me. Everything single thing that has happened to me, every single obstacle I have had to overcome, from Bratz Life, to Aubrianna Powers, to Sophie O’Brian, all of it will be put to rest. Because whether it is Alexander Jones or Miss America, I will face the winner and I will become the NEW GCW World Champion. This year I will win the 2024 Civil War Match, I will go to Resurrection, and the Queen will return to her throne. That…is a Vow of Chastity.

--

The scene rises up inside the Global Championship Wrestling studio. Dexter Russell, GCW Hall of Fame interviewer, is seated in one chair, shuffling some papers.

Russell: “Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is one some claim is a woman of destiny. At the GCW End of Year Bash, she punched her ticket to the Civil War, where she will be challenging GCW World Champion Alexander Jones for that Championship.Miss America, thank you for joining me.”

Miss America is revealed to be sitting inside the other chair, dressed well.

Russell: “First of all, I want to congratulate you on becoming the number one contender for the World Championship.”

Miss America: “Thank you, Dexter.”

Russell: “You haven’t been exactly shy about your displeasure in your lot as far as that title is concerned, but now you have an opportunity to change that. What does that mean to you?”

Miss America: “You’re right there… I haven’t been shy about that, and why should I be? Ever since Resurrection, I had been plainly held back. While everyone had seen that Gabby Austin cost me my spot in the Championship Series, I was never under consideration for another shot. And I think recent weeks have demonstrated why that is.”

Russell: “I can only assume you’re referring to current Champion Alexander Jones making an appeal to refuse you entry to the battle royal series that you ultimately won?”

Miss America laughs,

Miss America: “Funny, ain’t it? For someone who claims to be all about “business”, he certainly demonstrated that he ain’t more than a little coward. I mean, think about it. The best business at Resurrection was clear: Miss America versus D’Nae Moore, and yet we got robbed of that by his former girlfriend. And now, he wanted to politick me out of contention? If there is any other way to prove he knows that he can’t beat me, I wanna hear it.”

Russell: “So what is your mindset as you approach this potentially historic main event?”

Miss America: “I’m going to take this match like I’ve taken every match… I’m going to go in with the fight of a Champion, because Goddammit… ONE of us has gotta!”

Russell: “Aren’t you concerned, however, that if you go into this contest too headstrong that you’ll leave yourself prone to making a mistake that could cost you? I mean, Jones has reigned since Resurrection for a reason.”

Miss America: “Sure, but how much of that reason is he only defends once in a blue moon?”

Russell: “A good point…”

Miss America: “Look, I’m not gonna mince words here… I don’t think his reign has been all that “good for business”... not for GCW business, anyway. It may be fine for Alexander Jones business, but that ain’t doing a Goddamn thing for the company as a whole. Having a Champion who defends as he pleases, who actively tries to block top talent from competing for title shots? Good job, Alex… way to make the entire company look like garbage. Well, I ain’t about that. That’s why I’m gonna roll into the Civil War, DEFEAT Alexander Jones, and let the sun RISE on a new day. I’ll take that title into Resurrection. I’LL be the blemish in his quest for a perfect year. And I’LL be the one to make the business of GCW THRIVE by leaving Alexander Jones behind! You can mark my words on that… there WILL be a new Champion at the Civil War!”

Russell: “Well, best of luck to you on that.”

Dexter reaches across to shake Miss America’s hand, but the fired up top contender responds with a side high five. Dex shrugs as the scene shifts.

The Rogers Arena of Vancouver, Canada, has been selected to host the special edition of GCW’s LiveWire episode named Day One. The audience has been enjoying the show so far until the camera transitions to scouting the audience to see a private skybox where two members of the Bling Empire are seated enjoying a nice glass of champagne served by their personal employees. GCW X-Division Champion, Danielle Page, and GCW Heritage Champion, Amber Mansley, dismiss the audience’s boos thrown at them as they receive microphones to speak over the hateful crowd.

Amber Mansley: “Now isn’t this a sight for the pathetic people of Vancouver, Canada.”

Amber laughs at the insult that causes a massive reaction of boos. Danielle takes a sip of her champagne as Amber leans back in her seat holding the GCW Heritage Championship belt in her grasp.

Amber Mansley: “2024 is kicking off with the Bling Empire establishing our dominance and control over Global Championship Wrestling. We’ve told everyone what is going to be the case and did you all listen? No! Like everyone else, you can’t handle when change is on the horizon. At the End of the Year Bash, I defeated that pig, Jessica Lasiewicz, to become the new GCW Heritage Champion!”

Amber gets interrupted by the audience chanting “YOU CHEATED! YOU CHEATED! YOU CHEATED!” and she waits for them to die down.

Amber Mansley: “Now of course the rest of you are going to discredit our championship win. The Bling Empire collects what we want, when we want and by any means necessary. We all told you from the beginning how we operate but you took us for a joke. Well, look who's laughing now and it hurts doesn’t it? Seeing what you made fun of, fighting back and proving you wrong? It’s beautiful music to our ears. However, our work is not done yet, there are many more championships to acquire and many more enemies to dispose of. While I accomplished my goal of becoming Heritage Champion, my bestie here has something to say about her goals.”

Amber hands Danielle the microphone. Danielle looks down at the crowd with a big smile on her face.

“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page: “Day after day, week after week, month after month, as well as year after year I have been telling all of you. During all that time I came across like minded people who have become as good as family. People who have decided they want to be on the right side of history just like I do. Because we all saw how I was robbed out of becoming GCW World Heavyweight Champion just over a year ago. That is when I realized I needed an army to watch my back and I would do the same for them. So the Bling Empire was born. Sure there were some growing pains along the way and now at the End of the Year Bash our golden prophecy came to fruition. Amber won the Heritage Championship, Jonathan and Clyde won the World Tag Team Championship, while I retained my X-Division Championship. So now Amber and I get to see who becomes the number one contenders to our respective parts of the Bling Empire gold. Good luck to all of you involved. You’ll get the opportunity to lose to either Amber or I.”

Amber and Danielle smile at each other.

“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page: “We are sure that all of you out there with egg on your faces after you realized you’re on the wrong side of history are all riled up that you are going to put us in our places. But you’ll all be sadly mistaken because coming into 2024 if you think we will become complacent in this new year. We are actually hungrier than we have ever been because there is something that I have wanted since I arrived in GCW. That is the only option, the only outcome that there is.”

Amber immediately slams her hands on the table adjusting the microphone for her voice to be heard.

Amber Mansley: “The Global Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship! That’s right! The very championship belt that has slipped Danielle’s hands and the Bling Empire’s territory because everyone in the back knows that that belt is the final piece of the puzzle. The only thing you can all do is delay the inevitable because my friend who has been the greatest X-Division Champion of all time will win that belt and when it’s all said and done, the Bling Empire conquers GCW!”

Danielle and Amber stand up before raising their championship belts in the air. The audience watching from below boo relentlessly to the point they start throwing trash into the skybox but it's met against the glass. The two ladies start laughing as security encroaches around the skybox warning fans to calm down as the show continues.

X-Division #1 Contenders Eliminator Match
Aiden Marino Vs Zoey Styles Vs Aki Ito vs Aria Stevens-Crawford

Aiden, Zoey, Aki and Aria look up to the skybox that Danielle and Amber cut there rousing speech from. None of them were impressed. As soon as the bell rang, Zoey was the first to go on the offensive, targeting Aki. Aiden and Aria opted to focus on one another.

There was a segment in the match where Aki, Aiden and Aria decided to focus their attention on Zoey. Which made sense since she at certain intervals enforced her will. She established herself as the biggest threat. Once she was sidelined, Aki targeted Aria. Aiden tried to take advantage, focusing on Zoey. She did kick out of his pin attempt. Aki and Aria brawled for a bit. Aria showcased her technical skill. Aki showed her metal.

Towards the end, the match whittled down to how it began, Zoey and Aki, Aiden and Aria. Zoey connected with ZOEY SMASH to Aki Ito. She wasted no time applying the arm bar. With no incentive to break up the submission, Aiden and Aria continue to fight among themselves. Aki doesn’t hold on for long, tapping out to the arm bar.

Winner: Zoey Styles
Survivors: Zoey. Aiden and Aria Stevens Crawford.
Eliminated: Aki Ito

Jazmyn Rain appears to be in more of an amused mood than anything as she stands beside a monitor. Noticeably, there’s a plush seal nearby but she’s not paying too much attention to it as she begins to express her thoughts.

Jazmyn Rain: I don’t know who Kimberly Williams is trying to kid here… or troll… let’s be honest.

She’s trying to make out that the Guardian Angel… or the “old Jazmyn” is the better one, right? I think that’s what I got from her stupid little message from Fever or whatever it is that she wants to call it. So, before I really dive into it, I want to reveal the ‘worst of the Guardian Angel’. Yeah, you know about my three Global Championships and all of that nonsense and I’m going to be honest, it’s not just the Guardian Angel era, it’s the era before that too because that whole ‘episode thing’ is also technically ‘old Jazmyn’. So, let’s show exactly what Kim thinks is the ‘better Jazmyn’ shall we.

To the lowlights…

Jazmyn turns on the monitor and there’s some old footage playing that dates back to about 2015. Some of the “lowlights” include…

Jazmyn getting dominated for the most part by ‘Ginger Nation’ on a repeated basis when she first arrived in GCW…

Jazmyn losing the GCW International Championship to Timothy Myers…

Jazmyn constantly struggling to beat Malcolm Cross and Jessica Lasiewicz

The ladder choking her out to make an example out of her as a message to Malcolm Cross…

Being screwed out of the GCW Global Championship by Jefferson Bentley…

Losing the Seven Stages of Hell match to Myra Rivers even though she passed out rather than quit…

Being beaten down by Glory Braddock during their feud…

Being easily shaken by Sophie O’Brien and Jefferson Bentley during her feud with the former…

Being cheated out of a Global title challenge by Aphrodite Noel…

Losing the GCW Global Championship to Kendra Classic after she wouldn’t accept a countout win…

And lastly, being pummeled by Angelica Jones at the end of her first GCW run in 2018…

Jazmyn turns off the monitor as she has a bit of an angry glare on her face. She certainly has a lot of bitterness in her heart having seen all of that just now.

Jazmyn Rain: Who the FUCK are you trying to fool, Kimberly? THAT’S the Jazmyn that you like better? Of fucking course it is! You saw just now how easy it was to take advantage of her. Now, I am NOT going to stand for that nonsense because I have shown that I am better than that. In fact, I am going to be real with you. I should be the one that challenges for the world title around here. I’ve been back for too long to be overlooked. That whole battle royal mess was a bunch of bullshit to begin with. People change, Kimberly. People evolve. What the hell was I going to gain if I came back to GCW being nothing more than a nostalgia act? What do I have to gain being the Guardian Angel all over again?

It’s funny and stupid at the same time and I am going to tell you why.

Because had I come back as the Guardian Angel, I am sure that there would’ve been SO many people on this roster calling me a nostalgia act and telling me to let go of the past. I would’ve gotten the ‘2018 is over’ lecture. I WILL NEVER go back to being that stupid, wingless… SPINELESS… Guardian Angel who fought with her heart and never her head. NEVER! It’s NEVER going to fucking happen! I refuse to go back to being constantly taken advantage of. The CONSPIRACY of the situation, Kimberly, is that you want me to go back to that because you figure it’s an easier win for you if god forbid we ever crossed paths in the ring. If it’s not that, you’re probably trying to avenge your mother for me beating her ass in the Seven Stages of Hell match not too long ago. Whatever fucking game you are trying to play ISN’T going to work. So take your ‘old Jazmyn was better’ bullshit and shove it up your ass…

Jazmyn looks at the plush seal nearby.

Jazmyn Rain: Come here, Sailor… we’re going penguin hunting again…

Jazmyn takes the plush toy with her and makes her exit from the scene, with the scene fading not long afterward.

--

We open backstage. There we spot the notorious eccentric ginger herself Kimberly Williams seated on a packing crate. The Woman Scorned is wearing a gothic style dress. The dress is a bewitching blend of deep purple and jet black, adorned with intricate lace detailing that weaves a mysterious elegance. Its bodice is snug, enhancing the silhouette, while the flowing skirt cascades with a subtle, ethereal grace. Delicate ruffles and velvet accents add a touch of decadence. Sitting to her right is her HKW Bloodlust Championship title belt and her beloved penguin plushy Wasley. Sitting on her left is her Unsanctioned Championship title belt. A devilish grin is etched across her face.

Kimberly Williams: Chaos is fair and yet it is also very unpopular. The reason is rather obvious. People like stability. People like the idea of knowing what to expect. It makes them feel safe and secure. I am an agent of chaos so you should never ever assume that you know why I do the things that I do. Take Jazzy Rain for instance. I am sure her and her very tiny support group think that they know why I decided to target her. I mean, there are perfectly good reasons. For starters, she did have a very violent war with my mother last year that culminated in a Seven Stages of Hell Match. Jazzy won that match and so it would make sense that yours truly would want revenge for my mother. Right? Right?!

The Woman Scorned shakes her head.

Kimberly Williams: Wrong! Revenge can certainly be fun and satisfying but not in this case! I mean, hell, I get why you would be pissed off at my mom! I’d probably want to maim her too if I thought she was responsible for the end of my career! I don’t blame you for that and I certainly wouldn’t be out for revenge. So if its not revenge then what is it? Well, you did kinda spout off at the mouth, you talked trash to my friend Jessi Ozborne and said that the Queens of Chaos sucked. That, Jazzy, was a big mistake, because if Jessi decides that she wants your head on a platter, then she’ll come for it. And she’ll tell you herself that she doesn’t need me fighting her battles. Especially not over something like that. Besides, I already got my licks in for that one. I eliminated you from that battle royal. I cost you the opportunity to compete for the GCW World Championship. We’re even as far as I’m concerned. But I am still not done with you, Jazzy, not by a long shot. So if talking trash about my friend and my Queens isn’t what got you on my radar then what is it?

A look of mischief crosses her face.

Kimberly Williams: I am your wakeup call. I am your reminder. You see, Jazzy, you have been so damn caught up in your own ego for so damn long that you forgot just who in the hell you are. You are Jazmyn Rain! GCW Hall of Famer! Three time GCW Global Champion! Livewire was your damn show! Whenever there was a threat to the very heart and soul of GCW you were there to keep those threats beaten down! Now I am not here to say that I have taken your place. I am a good liar but even I can’t say that line with a straight face. I am no hero. I am no guardian angel. I am the bringer of chaos. And chaos will remind you of who the hell you need to be and you need to remember pretty damn quick, because this current version of Jazmyn Rain, this Guardian Goddess, I could smoke her in an instant. Given the chance I would leave the guardian goddess bleeding in a heap in the center of the ring. But the old Jazmyn Rain, the one these great people, my Kimmymaniacs once adored and loved, that is the only Jazmyn Rain that can beat me. That is the only Jazmyn Rain that can stop me. So if you want me to stop harassing you, if you want me to leave you alone, then let her come out to play, Jazzy. Give my Kimmymaniacs all over the world what they want! Give us the old Jazmyn Rain back!

She winks at the camera.

Kimberly Williams: Don’t try to ignore me, Jazzy. You’d better take this seriously because me and Wasley are not going away. I’m too damn stubborn to quit.

We open backstage where we find GCW journalist Janelle St. Claire. Standing next to her is “The Archangel” Jessica Lasiewicz. Jessica Lasiewicz stands in the center and she is dressed in denim jeans, black boots, a block t-shirt, and a black hooded leather jacket. Her long hair is back to her natural black color.

Janelle St. Claire: Ladies and gentlemen I am here with the now former GCW Heritage Champion, “The Archangel” Jessica Lasiewicz, and Jessica, I would like to get your thoughts about what happens for you in the future here in GCW going forward as we start a new year?

The Archangel remains stoic and unphased by this question.

Jessica Lasiewicz: It’s a fair question. So many things have changed, so much doubt has descended. I am no longer the Heritage Champion, I no longer have Fabulous, and except for Leviticus, I am practically on my own. I mean, sure I have my sisters, but Marie is MIA lately and Kim seems busy annoying the piss out of Jazmyn Rain. So where does that leave me? What does the future hold for The Archangel? The obvious answer would be to go after the Heritage Championship again. I could call for a rematch. But then again, it appears as if a new challenger is already penciled in and I wouldn’t want to get in the way of that anytime soon. If I wanted to pursue some sort of vengeance for what happened at the Bash and get some gold back in the process, I could target Danielle Page. Cut the head off the snake, y’know? But then I got to thinking, we are about to begin Resurrection season. Civil War is coming and I have come in second place in the Civil War Match twice now. That is pretty damn unprecedented if I do say so myself. But I am tired of being the runner up in Civil War. As impressive as that feat is, I am sick of it and I really would like to finally win it all. Julia Braddock has already made her intentions clear, but there are more than just one person who has a history of performing well in the Civil War Match. She’s won two of them back to back and I have the record for the longest time spent in a Civil War Match without a rest period. Before Vegas starts making their bets, they should take a good long look at me, because I plan on winning the Civil War Match this year and being the main event of Resurrection. Come and place your bets on that.

Janelle St. Claire: What do you have to say about Summer Collins and Crystal Swift?

Lasiewicz sighs and shakes her head.

Jessica Lasiewicz: They want me to join them in their violent, insane, crusade. Crystal has been insane for quite awhile now but I have no idea what made Summer snap. I have no idea how Crystal got to her. If Summer had any problems she had to talk about, anything she needed to deal with, she could have talked to me. She can still talk to me. I will never give up on Summer because she never once gave up on me. But at the same time I refuse to join them. And unless Summer is willing to sit down and talk like a normal person, then I am going to have to go forward without her…on my own if necessary…

The Archangel turns and walks off.

Victoria Salinas is giving a long, hard look at herself in the mirror. With her match coming up shortly, she knows that she’s got to focus though she might be having a bit of a hard time doing so. But still, even with all that, she is far from shaken as she begins to express her thoughts.

Victoria Salinas: Look, I am going to acknowledge that the conversation I had with Roderick on the previous Fever was absolutely intense. I get that. Maybe I was a bit harsh, you know? But I got so sick and tired of having to answer questions about 2018 and talking about certain events that played a role at the end of my run here.

Victoria pauses as she turns toward the camera.

Victoria Salinas: But really, I have had to take a pause and I have had to take a long, hard look at myself and remember what I was then compared to who I am now and who I am growing into. I take full responsibility for the fact that I grew the reputation that I did when I walked into this company in late 2014 to begin with and even though I changed my ways and even though I made up for the rough start that I had, that reputation never exactly quit following me. A lion’s share of the blame falls on me too. I had that awful reign, for my own standards anyway, the first time that I was the GCW World Champion, and then no matter how successful I was beyond that, I spent the rest of my first GCW run trying to make up for it even though I basically did with my second reign here. I allowed that to turn me into something that I never really was.

See, when I first got started in this business, I was that girl that was just happy to be here and I didn’t care about championships. Of course, times change and the bright lights get to your head a little and then you’re always striving for one. Most of my first run here, I was always focused on winning a world title and there’s nothing really WRONG with that unless you let it consume you… which I did…

Still, when the opportunities come around, you can’t take them for granted and you can’t just turn them down, no matter what championship it is. I know, I didn’t practice that when I had that ‘forced tag team’ thing with Kayla Jones, but what I thought then, isn’t how I think now. That’s why, despite being pressed to the contrary, I’m NOT upset about being in a contender’s match for the Heritage title. It’s too damn bad that Gabriella Austin has to spin this the way she spinned it with ‘transcending beyond a title’ or whatever the hell she was saying. When I look at Transcendence, I look at it as a group that doesn’t appear to have any real goals in this business anymore. If they don’t seem to give a damn about championships, then what is it that they stand for exactly? I still don’t get it and I’ll say this for a fact, getting some damn revenge after what happened after my match with Kayla Jones would be pretty damn sweet when you throw in the title shot on top of it.

As for the remaining two competitors. Jessica Carter is who she is. There is really not much more I can say about her. And what can I say about the living Bratz doll Bianca anyway? I mean, she hasn’t really said anything about this match that is coming up. She seems more interested in talking about the ‘Bianca show’ and posting thirst trap pics and being more focused on being hot than being an actually good wrestler. I get that she’s got a tag team championship under her name but ultimately? She’s going to have to show so much more fire if she wants to win this match. I’m not going to let someone like that, with no real fire for this business other than to flaunt her shit, get a title shot over me. That’s just not who I am and that’s never been who I am.

So tonight? I’ll show how much I’ve changed from the old days… IMPROVED from my first run even…

And I am going to start this year the right fucking way.

Because hey, last I checked? This is a ‘biggest stage, brightest lights’ situation… and you KNOW how I do with those…

Victoria makes her way out of the scene and the scene fades out.

Summer Collins is backstage with her new best friend Crystal Swift. Summer adorns a multicolored vibrant ensemble. The knee-length pastel dress boasts a myriad of hues, featuring intricate lace and ribbon details. A matching oversized bow graces her hair, complementing ankle socks adorned with playful patterns. Pastel-hued platforms and an array of accessories, including a lace parasol, complete her whimsically charming look, making her a vision of youthful elegance. Crystal radiates charm in her multicolored vibrant ensemble. The knee-length dress is a delightful fusion of pastel hues, adorned with intricate lace patterns and adorned with cascading ribbons that sway gracefully with her every movement. A meticulously crafted oversized bow crowns her elegantly styled hair, adding a whimsical touch to her look. Crystal's ankle socks feature playful motifs that peek out from beneath pastel-hued platform shoes, contributing to the ensemble's youthful appeal. Her accessories, including delicate gloves and an ornate lace parasol, showcase a fine balance between sophistication and playful exuberance.

Summer Collins: What do we have here, Crystal?

Crystal Swift: A little appetizer?

They are standing over the beaten body of Leviticus. Sinister giggles escape their lips. It is obvious that they did this. Crystal starts to put the boots to Leviticus while Summer watches on. Eventually Jessica Lasiewicz rushes into the scene and jerks Crystal off and pushes her away.

Jessica Lasiewicz: Zejdź z niego.

Crystal looks at Summer.

Crystal Swift: What’d she say?

Collins shrugs her shoulders.

Jessica Lasiewicz: What the hell is wrong with you?! Why would you attack Levi?!

Crystal Swift: We was just playin’ wif ‘em!

Jessica Lasiewicz: Nie pytałem cię.

Crystal looks at Summer.

Crystal Swift: What’d she say?

Collins giggles. Jessica slaps Summer across the face.

Jessica Lasiewicz: Talk to me!

Summer Collins: We were just trying to get your attention. And I think we succeeded.

Jessica Lasiewicz: This is NOT a good way to get my attention, Summer. You of all people should know that.

Summer Collins: Yes, I do know what happens when you lose your temper. But it isn’t just your temper that goes, its your mind. You tried to break my leg…not just once but twice. On more than one occasion you lost your temper and you tried to end someone’s career. You lost the Heritage Title and you tried to break Amber’s leg after the fact. Does that sound like the actions of a sane woman? Yet you question my sanity because I happen to take on a new lifestyle and a new, more violent philosophy. You stand here in judgment of me and Crystal because we put a beating on Levi here?

Collins smirks.

Summer Collins: You belong with us, Jess. Admit it, all of this is just a mask hiding your own insanity, your own penchant for violence.

Leviticus slowly pushes himself back up. Jessica grabs hold of him to help him. Lasiewicz then looks back at Summer and Crystal and shakes her head.

Jessica Lasiewicz: No way, Summer. No way.

Lasiewicz and Levi walk off.

Summer Collins: You will be one of us, Jess. Your sanity will crumble.

Jewel Romero:
“Redemption or revenge you can call it what you’d like. I’ve been waiting for this opportunity, this moment, the rematch.”

The spotlight shined down onto Jewel Romero, who was sitting in a bejeweled decked out throne.

Jewel Romero:
“Nadia, I’ve been waiting for this moment. Lurking around, just watching you. You got the best of me, you were the better person, you walked out the winner.”

Jewel smirked, she sat in the throne her legs crossed and of course she brought back the infamous bejeweled crown.

Jewel Romero:
“I was once Queen,(she paused) I still am! You now stand with the group I was once a part of. I loved The Queens Of Chaos and they taught me a lot, I learned so much from them. What did I get in return? Nothing. It’s funny, they act as if I don’t exist anymore . Like I was nothing to them. When I gave them EVERYTHING.”

Jewel leaned forward, slightly heated and annoyed.

Jewel Romero:
“Everything, I’ve done? I earned it on my own. I’m not just a pretty face, I’m not just Silas Romero’s wife. I’m the Queen and it’s time to put some respect on my name.”

Jewel at this point was standing, she regained her composure and took a deep breath.

Jewel Romero:
“Nadia, I’m a different person now. I learned from my mistake, you think you're walking out the winner tonight? I’ve got some bad news, darling. The Queen will prevail and conquer tonight. Then maybe .. you will all see just who Jewel Romero truly is.”

Jewel smiled.

Jewel Romero:
“Now come watch the Queen conquer.”
