Gimmick: Bitter and vengeful, mainly. Jazmyn is back in the fold to deal with unfinished business. She's still taking a moral high ground, but one that is much more selfish and materialistic, if not delusional in some ways.

Biography: Jazmyn Rain has largely lived a troubled life, due to a very harsh childhood. Her parents got divorced when she was only seven years old, and her mother, who largely raised her, never really bonded with her and as a result, they didn't have the greatest relationship. She managed to live through it all, largely because she had a solid resolve and a best friend, Myra Lynwood, that was always there for her no matter what, but she was always in her shadow and was often mocked during her teenage years for it.

Her life got better when she was able to be accepted into Florida State University and managed to graduate in four years with a degree in clinical psychology, but with a weak self-esteem (largely due to her childhood), that career didn't last very long as she was a victim of layoffs due to a shift in the corporate offices. So, for a few years, once again, she was stuck in Myra's shadow. By then, Myra had become a well-established wrestler and would mostly follow her along.

Still, she was able to be inspired by this and at the "old" (for a new wrestler) age of 26, she decided to become a wrestler herself. She was nearly 27 years old when she wrestled her first match, but despite that, she was able to muster up some solid success and come close to a main event contender on a few occasions, though to date, she had never won a world championship prior to her career rock-bottom. She did break out on her own, but when she harshly split from Myra, life took such a turn for the worst. Her self-esteem came back to haunt her again. That combined with the stresses of wrestling caused her to slip into a cocaine addiction, making her psychotic and believing that the entire world was against her. Naturally, her wrestling career wasn't seeing the same success and eventually, she was out of a job in the wrestling business having become far too much to handle for anyone.

Life hit rock bottom for her, as her addiction after wrestling worsened. She was admitted to a psychiatric and drug treatment facility and would stay there for months, before she started to rebuild her self-esteem. Since late 2013, she has taken many steps to rebuild her life, even returning to the clinical psychology field. Even still, she had the hunger and drive to want to get back into wrestling again.

And so, two years after she was unceremoniously fired from her previous wrestling job, with rebuilt strength and a new lease on life, Jazmyn returned to the business in GCW as she not only looks to redeem herself and overcome her past wrongs and demons in wrestling, but also sought to prove to the entire wrestling world that she can be a success on her own without being in the shadow of anyone else, as she was with Myra for years and years as well as others in the wrestling business.

GCW Career (The "Beautiful Nightmare" Era)

Jazmyn joined GCW in March of 2015, resuming her career. Off the bat, she had a mini-feud with Bowman Doane which she would win in order to get a shot at the GCW International Championship held at the time, by Jinxy of #GingerNation. Jazmyn would become involved in quite the lengthy feud with Jinxy and the gang over the first few months of her GCW run, winning the championship from her at Best of the Best in May 2015. However, with #GingerNation STILL being a pain in the ass, Jazmyn sought some help to try to even out the odds and would in fact, get that help when her then-best friend Myra Lynwood returned to the business. In part, due to this, Jazmyn would put Jinxy and #GingerNation behind her, and continue to reign as International Champion for a few more solid months before the prospects of being Global Champion. However, obstacles, from her past, her bipolar episodes, the frustrations of never being a world champion and constantly falling short in chances to move up the ladder, and most notably, being choked out in a random fit of rage by Jessica Lasiewicz, stood in her way. After losing the International Championship, Jazmyn attempted to screw Lasiewicz out of the title. However, an errant chair shot instead had the opposite effect and Lasiewicz won it from Malcolm Cross. Jazmyn would beat Lasiewicz in a non-title match, but one last twist came in the form of Myra turning heel and losing her boyfriend to her in a cruel, cheating twist of fate. Despite that though, at Survival of the Fittest in November 2015, Jazmyn defeated Lasiewicz and Cross to finally claim her first World Championship (GCW Global Championship).

Jazmyn would continue to struggle with her inner demons and her bipolar mood swings/episodes, but proved to be a formidable champion, defending against the likes of Myra, Gabriela Austin and Hayley Gold. During her title reign, a unique friendship with Jefferson "Nero" Bentley, who took great interest in her, intensified. Jazmyn would predominantly feud with the reformed Apocalypse during her reign, culminating at Resurrection against Trenton Snow, her GCW career long nemesis who had spent weeks and months putting her down and saying evil, nasty things about her. Just when it seemed like she would finally silence him and prove him wrong, interference by Myra Lynwood and Jefferson Bentley would result in the most heartbreaking, soul crushing loss of her career, causing perhaps her worst "episode" yet on the first Livewire following the draft special, leading her to being stun gunned and temporarily institutionalized. Following this, Jazmyn was ordered into therapy and medication and from that point on, she sought to fight and overcome her demons, seek out her dream of living a normal life again, and get revenge on Bentley and Lynwood. What started as a rough journey took a huge turn when she put her freedom on the line against Bentley in a Ring of Fire match, having to marry him if she lost. Jazmyn scored a huge, personal victory, defeating Bentley and banishing him from GCW for good. From there, it was all about Myra and her Utopia followers. In her most bitter, personal feud to date, Jazmyn would overcome EVERYTHING Myra threw at her, including a handicap match against her proteges, Sedona Sky, and a haunting parody of the rock bottom moment of her life. During all this, Jazmyn kept finding her inner strength and spirit, as she began to realize there was a greater purpose for the journey she was on. At Deadly Dreams, she faced Myra in a Seven Stages of Hell match. Falling into an 0-3 hole, Jazmyn came all the way back to tie it at 3, before passing out in the final fall, an "I Quit" match, and losing in a cruel fashion despite never quitting.

This would be the end of the "Beautiful Nightmare" era, and for many, there was some thought that this was the end of her career. However, it was merely a chapter to a brand new beginning.

GCW Career (The "Guardian Angel" Era)

Jazmyn would suffer a cardiac arrest during her last "bipolar episode" on August 23, 2016, resulting in her (temporary) death. Luckily, she was revived by CPR three minutes later and days later, was released after a full recovery that was described as "miraculous". Following this, Jazmyn returned to GCW with a new lease on life, and a brand new perspective. Realizing her story could be an inspiration for others and that GCW had done everything for her for so long, including standing by her during all of her personal issues and demons, Jazmyn decided to become GCW's "Guardian Angel", protecting it from any evildoer that stands in its way.

Jazmyn's mission WAS two-fold: to protect GCW from its demons as her way of saying "thanks" to everything they've ever done for her, and to inspire others to overcome their own demons by telling her unique story, a story that culminated in two more Global titles and a HOF induction in 2020.
