Biography:
When Rina Takeuie was 12 years old, her father - Japanese wrestling legend Hiero Takeuie - was killed helping people in the 2011 tsunami. Now, she seeks to follow in his footsteps with one caveat: Her family does NOT approve. Fearing she will follow in the footsteps of her iconic father, her mother forbade her from pursuing her wrestling dreams, threatening disownment if she did. But the call was too strong. She was disgraced in the eyes of her family, taking on the moniker of "The Ronin", or Fallen Samurai. It isn't a gimmick to her... it's who she is to those who mean the most to her. Trained by her father's longtime in-ring rival, Samurai Toshiaki, she competed for two years in Japanese women's wrestling companies before receiving an invite for a tryout prior to a GCW show early in 2019.
