Entrance Description:

The opening guitar riff to "In the Middle of the Night" by Within Temptation hits the speakers and the crowd comes unglued as Ariana emerges from the back wearing a long cloak with her initials on the back and with her back to the crowd.

Ring Announcer: Introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, "The Greek Goddess" Ariana Angelos!

Ariana spins around right as the song kicks into high gear with the opening lyrics, she poses for the crowd as she makes her way down to the ring before rolling into the ring and removing her cloak ready for her match.

Out-of-Ring Attire (optional): Ari rarely goes for anything extremely girly, preferring a pair of jeans to a dress any day of the week, her tops usually reflects this

Gimmick/Personality: Ariana is a happy-go-lucky girl trying to make her mark in wrestling but she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty, she is loyal to those who she considers her friends.

Biography: Ariana was born into a Greek family and became a wrestling fan at a young age even though her parents disapproved, she was a gifted high school athlete but after graduation she decided to pursue her love of wrestling and signed up for the famed Go Gym wrestling school in Las Vegas, a school with a reputation for producing champions in SCW, even though it meant being disowned by her family.

Friendship with Carter:

Whilst Ari was training at the Go Gym, she met HB Carter and became fast friends with the flamboyant yet talented wrestler and they debuted in the 2019 Halloween Special competing in the open invitational costume battle royal, Ari would end up being eliminated by Jessie Salco after the guest wrestler eliminated her whilst Carter made it to the final two, despite the setback the two friends would go on to great success as a tag team winning the Pride Tag Team Championships and holding it for a record setting length of time.

Carter would relinquish his half of the tag titles after he won the TV Title, but it was during this time that another Go Gym Graduate would enter the scene.

Enter the Wolfe:

Krystal Wolfe was an Australian Go Gym graduate who had graduated a couple of years before Ari and Carter, in spite of this Krystal came to Ari's aid several times during her feud with Veronica Taylor eventually picking up a singles win over the veteran in a cage match on an episode of Climax Control.

Krystal would move on to the SCW roster a few months later but remained in contact with her fellow graduates, even if the relationship between her and Carter was rocky at times, Ari was there to support Krystal through her initial losing streak and Team Go celebrated with Krystal when she won the Bombshell Roulette Title.

A fact that would have painful consequences for Ariana.

The attack:

During the lead up to High Stakes XI Krystal found out that her seventh challenger for the title would be non other than Char Kwan and the Japanese American Bombshell was out to get under Krystal's skin, first by using Krystal's finisher to put Azurine Vebbins away in her return match but it was the following week where things turned ugly for Ari.

Out of nowhere Char Kwan attacked Ari backstage when Climax Control was emanating from her home state of Pennsylvania, Krystal tried to save the day but she was blindsided by Char's cronies and forced to watch as Ari was brutalized by Char Kwan, only being saved from a beating by the timely arrival of Daniella V Rogers and Trinity Jones.

Krystal would go on to retain the title over Char Kwan in a brutal match much to Ari's relief but the now twenty one year old wrestler had a lot on her mind.

Pawn No More:

Ari was nowhere to be seen on the post High Stakes episode of Underground and she would explain why the following week, claiming that she was tired of being pushed around and would be a "pawn no more" citing her title reigns and success in Underground.

The following week, Ari would prove her point definitively, Amy Santino called for a Purge after she lost the GRIME Championship to Winter Elemental in controversial fashion and seemingly took Ari out early in the purge, however Ari would have the last laugh attacking both Amy and Winter with a baseball bat and standing tall.

As the purge was never ended the chaos continued the following week and Ari came prepared taking a trolley full of weapons into the arena with the help of her new boyfriend Francisco, through the chaos Ari was able to win a scaffold match to secure a shot at the GRIME Championship proving once again to be a woman of her word.

Time would tell if this new attitude would continue through to the New Year.

Fallout with SCU:

Despite a promising start to the New Year Ariana would have a falling out with the SCU higher ups after they had screwed around her best friend resulting in Team Go (their tag team name) being banned from SCU events and being forced to sit out their contracts, this applied to Krystal as well but as Krystal was on the SCW Roster that was less of a concern for her.

Ariana would not settle for this however and soon began seeking new employment, joining the GCW Roster a month later.
