The opening notes of Personal Jesus would play, signaling her arrival, as a spotlight shines from the ceiling, as Faith ascended from a trap door at the top of the ramp.

"REACH OUT AND TOUCH FAITH!"

The lift gets to the top, as Faith would hold out her arms in her own Jesus Christ pose, as she looked up at the light to bask in the praise of her followers briefly while she was played in, before walking down the ramp for the opening chorus.
