LIVE from the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill, NC

OPENER: Sierra Michaels vs. Madame Santos

- Sierra Michaels was uncharacteristically dominant against Madame Santos as Santos stood virtually no chance whatsoever and only got in a couple of punches and clotheslines. Sierra would finally put her out of her misery with the Simply Amazing Shooting Star Cross Body Press and the pinfall victory at 5:18

Izumi Sato and Queen Mamba vs. El Perros

- Mr. and Mrs. El Perro stood virtually no chance at all against two of the newest members of the Shotgun roster. Sato and Mamba won quite easily after Mamba pinned Mrs. El Perro at 3:58 following the Snake Charmber.

Axl Austin vs. Drake Hemmingway

- This was a competitive battle between both guys that were truly looking to prove themselves. It was a back and forth match throughout but a sickening big boot to the head by Drake would change everything. The big boot would cause Axl's head to whiplash off the mat and the former TV Champion would see stars from there. Drake completely dominated as a result, constantly pounding him in the head with moves like a running elbow and a spinebuster. Axl was completely irresponsive to this reckless assault by Drake and the referee saw that Axl's eyes rolled to the back of his head. The referee called the match at 8:02 and awarded it to Drake as a result. Slade Merriman came out and the fans booed as they continuously assaulted Axl, looking to send a message. A conchairto and a double powerbomb through a table worsened things before Victoria Salinas finally came down to put a stop to it. Drake and Slade left, satisfied with what they just did. Axl had to be carried out on a stretcher.

Destiny Skye vs. Sergei Chagev

- One half of Controversy took on one half of Wrestling Royalty in quite the competitive matchup. Toward the end of the match, Chagev seemed to be in total control. However, Destiny turned things around quite quickly with an improvised hurricanrana into a modified facebuster being the ultimate turning point. Destiny went to the top and brought down Chagev with the "Skye High" for the pinfall win at 6:14, the crowd loving every bit of the big win!

#GingerAllison vs. Emmanuel Dionisia

- One-third of Ginger Nation took on the other half of Wrestling Royalty and while Dionisia gave it his all, it just wasn't enough against the quicker and more experienced Allison, who completely outclassed him through most of the match. Allison had no problems putting Dionisia away as she nailed the Eye of the Tiger and got the pinfall victory on Dionisia at 7:33. Afterward, Jenni Anderson and The Enigma came out to poor red hair dye all over Dionisia just to send a further message!

Isabella Harker and Golden Class vs. Monroe Jones, Karina Lyasenko and Joey Michaels

- For obvious reasons, things were quite awkward between Isabella Harker and Golden Class considering the recent controversy over the X-Division Championship lately. Still, it didn't stop them from doing what they had to do as Isabella nailed the "Stake" on Joey Michaels and picked up the pinfall victory at 9:01 with Golden Class neutralizing Monroe and Karina as they tried to break up the pinfall. The winners celebrated for a moment, before Golden Class left Isabella alone, obviously still somewhat peeved by recent events.

Co-Main Event: GCW TV Championship
JaMarcus Avery (C) and Julia Braddock vs. Golden Era (whoever gets the pin is the TV Champion)

- The fans were hugely entertained by this contest, being on the edge of their seats throughout. This was pure, class wrestling with neither team giving an inch. JaMarcus and Julia were about to go for the win, but Cassidy Carter came out and assaulted Julia Braddock from behind to send a message to JaMarcus. The referee saw this and the fans booed Cassidy immensely for ruining what was a solid tag team match and causing a DQ at 11:43.

WINNERS by DQ: JaMarcus Avery and Julia Braddock

STILL TV Champion: JaMarcus Avery

Neither team was thrilled with how it happened, with Golden Era notably more upset.

Co-Main Event: GCW Global Tag Team Championships
Victoria Salinas and Kayla Jones (C) vs. Knockout Champs

- With all the tension between the tag team champions, and with Victoria slightly shaken by what happened to Axl earlier in the night, you would expect things to implode between her and Kayla. Shockingly, that was not the case as the champions were able to work together against the Knockout Champs. Try as they did, the challengers weren't too much of a problem for the champions to handle. Kayla drilled Alan Shields with the Kayla Wind Kick 1.0, sending him stumbling right into a Siren Breaker by Victoria. Victoria would pin Shields at 12:05 to retain the Global tag team titles for the team and to end the night on a positive note!
