Livewire House Show - 8/2/2016

Post by Jazmyn Rain » Tue Aug 02, 2016 2:33 pm

LIVE from the Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

OPENER: Darian Andrews and Matty Graves vs. Revelations

- Darian Andrews and Matty Graves worked extremely well together against the team of Leviathan and Leviticus and while the size of Leviathan gave them just a hint of trouble, they were able to bring him down together while keeping Leviticus at bay. Ultimately, Darian Andrews would hit the Falling Star on Leviathan to get the pinfall win for his team at 7:11 of a pretty exciting opener.

KAI Maxima vs. Adam Craig

- The house show debut of KAI Maxima was quite the entertaining affair... unless you happened to be an Adam Craig fan. Craig put up a decent fight, but ultimately, KAI was in control throughout most of the match and hardly allowed his opponent any breathing room to deliver any consistent offense. The "Game Over" would seal the victory at 4:49 after KAI broke down his opponent in a tactical manner.

Saul Ramsey vs. Lester Sampson

- No chance. Lester got the End Times and the pinfall victory at 1:42. Saul Ramsey got no offense whatsoever.

Fury vs. Anastasia Jones

- The former Ginger Nation member basically proved exactly WHY she's a former Ginger Nation member as despite being more than twice the size of Anastasia Jones, Anastasia skillfully broke her down. Granted, Fury had her moments where she was in dominant control and almost had a win off a vicious sit down powerbomb, but ultimately, Anastasia made Fury tap out to a Texas Cloverleaf submission at 8:10.

Three-On-One Handicap Match: Rex Sanders vs. Kenny Perry and the Lethal Marksmen

- Two opponents weren't enough to bring down Rex Sanders, so how about three? Nope. A "Punishment" to all three of his opponents would do the trick and Rex pinned Kenny Perry to academically take the match at :55.

Drake Dillon vs. Jazmyn Rain

- Drake Dillon was looking for a bit of revenge for the last Livewire house show against Jazmyn Rain, who was nothing but motivated and determined going into this one. Despite Drake's constant cheating tactics, Jazmyn would fight and will through the challenge ahead of her. Things seemed bleak when Drake got her with a vertebreaker, but Jazmyn kicked out of it! Drake took a swing at her head with a pair of brass knuckles, but Jazmyn ducked it and managed to pull out the Rain Drop! Staying focused, she hit the Rain Splash right after, getting the win at 11:20!

Co-Main Event: Brittany Kayl and Meagan Collins vs. Glory Braddock and Myra Lynwood

- Glory felt like Brittany and Meagan were "unworthy" of wrestling her, so as a result, the newly crowned UWA Queen of the Ring did much of the legwork. She held her own, but obviously exhaustion would catch up and the NMR members really started taking it to her! Glory finally tagged herself into the match and evened up the score, for a while, making it look like neither one could keep up with her. However, her arrogance got in the way and Meagan Collins ALMOST got her with an inside cradle, and Brittany got her with the "My B*tch", with Myra JUST making the save. Glory at that point, once she came to, decided she had enough so she tagged Myra back in the match. The NMR seemed like they may have had things in control, but a flying knee from Glory to Brittany took both illegal women out of the equation and this enabled Myra to get the Tradition Breaker on Meagan to score the win at 12:19.

Co-Main Event: GCW World Tag Team Championships
High Voltage (C) vs. Karen McBride and Eric Chambers

- An entertaining world tag team title match would close off the night as the Entitled looked to take the gold away from High Voltage. For the most part, it was a back and forth affair but the tide would turn in the challenger's favor when Drake Dillon, sore and stubborn, made his way to the ring despite the loss he took earlier. Dillon took a lead pipe and jammed it in the back of Brooklyn's leg behind the referee's back. The challengers would be in command in the latter stages, with Drake CONSTANTLY interfering whenever it looked like the champions were about to make a comeback. This finally ended when Jazmyn Rain came from the back and confronted Drake. The odds would even up and it was a back and forth affair again. Eventually, the champions would pull through. High Voltage got the DOUBLE CHARGED on Eric. Olivia went for the pin and Drake tried to INTERFERE AGAIN, but Jazmyn tripped him up and pulled him out of the ring to make sure he wouldn't screw over her friends. Olivia pinned Eric at 14:01 to retain the titles. Jazmyn, Olivia and Brooklyn celebrated together to end the night.
